Yesterday, after nearly 10 months of lollygagging, the geniuses behind you in line at the store sometimes, launched a pre-alpha-beta version of their t-shirt store! Originally named "LET THEM COOK, IT'S TIME FOR AI TO MEET IT'S MAKER --- YOU" the tone and breadth of the store has been toned down quite a bit and it is now GEN GENERIC, a place to get unique graphic tees. We (my husband and kind of me) spent 10 months designing them and they are very, very nice. You should buy one or at least hope to be in the financial position to acquire one someday and mention that in your blog or during one of your new conferences.
And, if you don't like t-shirts, after we tire of all of the money we make from these batch of brilliance, we might expand into mugs or even stickers! We'll see. I might change once I'm rich. Do rich people even use mugs? I guess I'll find out soon.

BELOW THE LINE: WHERE THE NONSENSE LIVES
On the off chance you found yourself her organically via my brilliant SEO strategy (read about it in this very blog if I ever decide to write about it!) let me give you some background regarding why this announcement is so terrific.
This all started when I was a baby, just kidding, it started in 1998 when I started working for Amazon.com. I worked there with a few unsuccessful attempts to escape until I finally left for good (I hope) in 2019. I returned briefly to a company that I doubt still exists to growth hack them into some funding. They were so stupid. It was awful. Anyhoo, fast forward to December of 2023, I had decided to go back to work having failed at every hobby, side hustle, and ways to make money that would not involve marketing possible. Long story short (that's my writing style pardon) all of my interviews involved desperate looking middle aged executives asking if I knew "AI". I didn't. I didn't want to. I thought it was stupid customer service bots. But one company gave me a gift card to mess around with just to see what I thought. I got a an openai chat gpt 3.5 subscription and bam. TLF! heart emoji heart emoji
That brings us to TWO. Given the power of this great new technology I decided I didn't need a company. Instead I would harness the power of my own cracker jack marketing skills and take over the world! Youtube confirmed in every video I saw that it was not only doable but hard to fail at. I was so excited that I made a plan for my husband and I to make ONE MILLION DOLLARS IN ONE YEAR using AI.
That brings us to the launch of GEN GENERIC. It is great. And I had more fun making it and learned more about everything and feel happier to be alive than I have since I was 20 but we did not make ONE MILLION DOLLARS. I think we might have almost spent that to try to use AI to do things we could have done much more easily w/o it but like I said it was a blast. Now I will put this below the line (thanks to the manager who made me do that to everything I wrote for him for this pro tip) and write the launch.
